Katie Holl presented to almost 100 fourth graders at our school. She is an amazing presenter! All of our students and teachers were engaged in learning about food allergies through the reading of her fun and educational book, Charlie Learns About Her Food Allergies. Mrs. Holl sparked the kids' curiosity and answered the multitude of questions. She provided hands-on materials for students to see and demonstrated how to use an Epi-pen. As an educator, I could see that this presentation also helped students empathize with those living with food allergies. Mrs. Holl also inspired many of our budding authors by teaching about her experience through the self-publishing process. I know this presentation empowered many of our young writers.  Thank you Katie Holl!
